• We specialize in catching smallmouth bass using topwater lures and flies

  • We fish the many river systems near Lake Nokomis in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, such as the Upper Wisconsin River or Tomahawk River. 

  • We separate ourselves from the other guides in the area by almost always using topwater presentations to catch trophy smallmouth bass which makes for heart-pounding visual action all day long.

  • Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, and Muskie are not uncommon.

  • If the fish tell us we need to fish under the surface we will but our preferred technique is to fish for monster smallmouth bass is on topwater!​

Half Day Guided Fishing Trip on Lake Nokomis near Tomahawk Wisconsin​

 

After years of declining trips on Lake Nokomis due to the abundance of gigantic smallmouth bass located just minutes I was happy enough with the results to begin offering trips starting in Summer of 2024. These trips are designed to share what techniques and locations I have fished on Lake Nokomis with the hopes of my customers being able to fish these locations more as the summer goes on.  My preference is to fish topwater for Bass, Northern, Muskie (or maybe just under the surface)for exciting action. The quality and quantity of bass and northern has definitely gone down over the years but pending water temperatures, weed growth, and water levels I feel confident my customers will find fish on your next adventure from your cabin after spending a half day with me.
